The Score was a funny episode even though David Spade had a relatively small part in this one.

The episode centers around two storylines one involving Jeff and his wife Audrey who have a conflict. The other involving Adam and Jennifer.

I found the story line with Jeff and Audrey to be the funniest. It starts out with her having to take these massive estrogen formula injections because they’re attempting to get pregnant. As a woman who is a bit older she’s having great difficulty conceiving and losing patience with the process.

Jeff’s being a real puss about it because he doesn’t want to give her the injection. She is hunched over the couch imploring him to “just do it.” Nothing like some good sexual innuendo right at the start of the show. A few seconds later we realize when she’s saying just do it she’s talking about him injecting her with the estrogen.

They talk a little more and finally Jeff says, “okay I’ll go ahead and do it”. They move around a little bit and somehow Jeff ends up injecting the estrogen into himself.

He’s now hurt because he has estrogen in him. He was disappointed before because his company has excellent club seats to the New York Rangers hockey playoff game but Audrey is forcing him to go to her bosses office party tonight. Audrey’s worried about her job because there’s been layoffs at her work.

So the stage is set for Jeff to make a fool out of himself at the party tonight. He normally does this but it should be a nice twist with the estrogen coming into play. I’m sure he’ll do something girly.

Adam has his own problem because it’s Jenn’s birthday and he forgot about it. He hardly knows what to get her anyway but he’s in a real bind this year. He, Jeff and Russell are talking at their little diner that they go to when Jeff informs him of his bad fortune tonight.

He lays the tickets on the table and tells the guys they can use them since he won’t be able to. Russell says his company already has seats on the glass and he’s taking Timmy.

So Adam seizes the opportunity and now has a birthday gift for Jenn.

He gives it to her wondering whether it’s going to land on the mark.

She truly loves the tickets and tells him this heartwarming story about how her dad used to take her to the games. It’s one of the best memories from her childhood so she’s looking forward to this one as well.

They get to the game and Adam is sitting next to this 13-year-old boy who has a cool video game. They start to play some together. They then go into the boys father’s luxury box and somehow argue their way into a hotdog eating contest.

It’s quite a while later when they both come back with stomach aches.

Jenn’s put out with Adam for his behavior.

He wonders why she’s mad because she’s watching the game and they’re both having fun. She said she wasn’t looking forward to just watching the game but she wanted to watch it with him like she did watching games with her dad.

Russell and Timmy are also at the game. Much to Russell’s chagrin Timmy has his full Boston Bruins gear on and is a loud obnoxious fan rooting for the visiting team. He convinces Russell to come out of his shell and also root for the visiting team.

This results in Russell getting punched and garbage thrown on him.

Overall it’s definitely an episode you should watch.
